Flight Paths: Ten Cheep Trills from a Key West Getaway

Chirped by Cass

My husband and I just spent a long weekend with a small group in Key West, Florida. The two of us had been there before, but last time was just a day trip off a cruise boat many years ago. Here are our top ten cheep trills for what we saw and did and took with us. Maybe it will help you plan your own Key West getaway!

Casa Marina – A Waldorf Astoria Resort

The hotel we stayed at was the Waldorf Astoria Resort. It had it all – from a spa, to Continue reading

April’s Cheep Trills

Chirped by Tina and Cass

Spring has finally sprung here in PA, along with all the flowers, pollen, rain and allergies. Despite Cass’s current stuffy head, and Tina’s cold from a couple of weeks ago, we’re focusing on all the positives! Here are some favorites from last month…

Spring Blooms

Tina’s forsythia bushes really popped in April – and just in time for the big Easter party! In Cass’s backyard, Medusa (the wisteria vine enveloping her pergola), is strutting her stuff as well.

Flock Together: Prepping for the Big Easter Gathering!

Chirped by Tina and Cass

Easter and Passover are nearly upon us! Cass was out of town last week, and I was charged with publishing my London post in her absence. So instead, I thought I’d throw together Continue reading

We had a number of activities keeping us on our toes, like the boys coming home for spring break, a new craft venture underway, some major blog reconstruction (hopefully mostly behind the scenes?), a trip to England and a new puppy!  Whew… Never a dull moment!

Puppy Cuteness

Let’s get the cuteness of the month posted first. Please welcome to the family our new Australian shepherd, 8 weeks old. Besides the potty training, crate training, sharp baby Continue reading

February’s Cheep Trills

Chirped by Tina and Cass

February has left us with some crazy weather patterns here in PA (though nothing compared to what friends and relatives in the “polar vortex” experienced last month!). Temperatures have bounced from the 60s one day to below 30 the next, bringing alternating snow, sun, ice, wind and lots of rain. As a result, our favorite things are a mix of indoor and outdoor gems, and what a selection we have!

Why We (mostly) Love Winter in PA!

It’s so much shorter and milder than in New England, while still having a smattering of snowstorms (or even the occasional blizzard) to mix things up. Continue reading
